C&G 2365 Levels 2 and 3 Diploma in electrical installations
The Level 2 qualification is designed for new entrants to the industry, providing them with the basic skills and experience they need.
The Level 3 qualification is aimed at those who have already completed the Level 2 qualification or with some relevant experience and knowledge of the industry.
The qualification covers many areas within Electrotechnical Technology. Units (subject areas) include principles of electrical science, electrical installations technology and health and safety within Building Services Engineering. Candidates will be assessed by on-demand multiple choice tests (available through the City & Guilds assessment platform) and practical assignments
.
Who should apply?
Those persons who are not already employed within the electrical industry but wish to gain ‘in depth’ knowledge in order to progress towards either gaining employment or becoming self employed within the industry.
You should have a grasp of basic mathematics or be willing to upgrade your mathematical skills to be able to carry out basic calculations with the use of simple formulas. You should also be able to carry out simple transposition of formulas.
